The most common reason we get called for garage demolition: the structure is old, deteriorating, and taking up space that could be used better. ADU projects, safety concerns, deferred maintenance. The teardown needs to happen.
We handle detached garage demolition throughout the Bay Area. Our crew tears down the structure, removes all materials, and leaves the lot clear.
Call or book online. We confirm utilities are disconnected before arrival.
We walk the structure, note access and material complexity, and give you an exact price.
Structure torn down systematically, materials sorted for recycling where possible, lot clear and swept when we leave.
We knock it down and take everything with us. Lumber, roofing, siding, and scrap metal all sorted for recycling where possible.
Clearing the lot for an ADU project is one of our most common jobs. We know what contractors need.
Priced by structure size, materials, and scope. Exact quote before work begins. No surprise invoice.
Yes. Electrical, gas, and plumbing lines must be capped and disconnected by licensed contractors before we begin demolition. We handle the physical teardown and hauling after utilities are safely disconnected.
In San Francisco and most Bay Area cities, yes: a demolition permit is required for garage teardowns. We recommend pulling the permit before scheduling our crew. We handle the physical demolition once permits are in order.
Yes. We take everything: lumber, drywall, roofing, concrete footings (where removable), siding, and hardware. The site is clear when we leave.
Concrete slab removal depends on the slab thickness and access for equipment. We can remove smaller slabs with hand tools. For large or thick slabs, we'll assess on-site and let you know if specialized equipment is needed.
Most single-car detached garage teardowns take 4-8 hours with a crew of two. Larger two-car garages or structures with more complex materials may take a full day or more.
